Wow it's Friday!

This week absolutely flew by! Wow! We had Tim Pratt come and speak with us on team building. We did a lot of stuff with trust and group exercises. We figured out how we work together and what everyone's personality is. In case anyone knows what it means, I am popular sanguine! It was a blast this week. The only sad thing was that Sarvia was gone all week. She left Sunday and will get back this Sunday. I missed her so much!

Yesterday was really cool. They didn't have anything specific for our local ministry, so we just prayed and asked God to put on our hearts what was on His heart. We had a bunch of random things. My group was made up of Ruth, Jessie, and Jaime. Jaime had this picture of kids and the words "Be kind", Ruth saw an eye, and Jessie saw a stadium. I saw a mother with a little boy and little girl. The other group saw a couple thing as well, but all that I remember was Heidi saw a dusty road with dogs in it. Pretty much every road in Ensenada, but still interesting. So JP directed us how to get to the stadium. He told us it was near a Calimax (grocery store) and he told us how to get to the Calimax. So we started walking. We passed this adorable little boy and little girl and stopped to chat for a minute. They were two and three. So we kept walking and were scared out of our minds by three dogs near the end of the road. All of a sudden Jessie stopped us and said we had just walked down a dusty road and noticed the dogs. So we stopped and prayed about what to do. We decided to walk back down the street and pray over the homes and the people. We turned around and the dogs were gone. We thought was pretty cool because there were not a lot of places to disappear to. So we walked up and down and just prayed that the devil have no hold and that God surround these people. Then Jessie thought that it would be a good idea to just buy basic groceries for those families. And we knew how to get to the grocery store! So we went and bought like beans and rice and tortillas and apples and a couple other things. We walked back and stood at the door. We prayed over the food and prayed that their hearts would be open and accepting. The mother hesitantly took the food and it was clear that she needed it. The little boy was so excited and he was smiling so big. We told them it was from God, not us, and that God wanted to bless them with it. Then we left.

Sorry there's no transition or ending, but I'm late for lunch and I have to be ready to go in twenty minutes. Ok miss you all!
Love,
Coray

Dear Coray
I am so glad that God prepared you for all this work while you were at Honey Rock all those years. It seems like you are working on a service team project building, working in the kitchen, and helping with lunches etc. I am glad that you are tired at night and able to fall asleep! We miss you in our small group. We started our study in Epesians this semester. I see the Lord using your many gifts and talents as you serve Him there. I am praying for you. I am glad everything seems good! much love-Sheli
