Saturday

Today we are going to see La Bufadora which is a giant blowhole and a major tourist attraction. But first, I convinced Sarvia to stop at Starbucks!!! Yesterday we started our small groups. I am in one with Sarvia, JP, Sjoerd, and Ruth. I really like it! Then we went up to this thing called "Prayer Mountain" where we could look out over the whole city. We took some pictures and spent some time praying over the city. It was quite beautiful watching the sun set while we were up there. Then after a dinner a bunch of the wives get together and do nails, so I joined. Then we went to a thing called Bajio. We took soup and hot chocolate to the Red Light District. It was super cool. The people knew we were coming because we do it every Friday at eight apparently, so they were all standing in line and they all knew Jean-Philippe's name. But they all had to wait while JP prayed over the food. It was really cool talking with them. Some were new and they asked why we came. I got to tell two people about God's love and that we were there to share Jesus with them. One of them told me that he didn't need God because his life was good and he was happy. The other one told me had was scared of the Bible and he was in between the two roads. So we talked about how Jesus isn't the scary one and how you can't be between two roads, you have to choose one. Two really drunk guys came up kind of laughing and just happy to eat and then they walked off, but one came back and started talking to Jessie. He asked lots of questions and decided he wanted Jesus and didn't want to live like he was anymore. It was super cool. Ok well I need to go talk to my family on Skype.
