First Day Stuff

We were joined at one am by Ruth from England. She's 18. This morning we ate breakfast at 9 and then went to church at 12. It was pretty much a day of relaxing. A few people went out for fish tacos after church, but the rest of us normal people ate sandwiches and cookies. Then we relaxed some more (I took a walk down to the beach with Marleen) before registration (at 3:30). We went in one by one and just talked with Sarvia (the director here) and Sheril (who took care of paper work). I now can give you more details.

Our program will be lead by Sarvia Nino from Ensenada, Jaime, and JP. Many of you won't be interested, so skip this part, but I know my mom and dad will want to hear it:

The rest of our themes are Father Heart of God, Loving the Unlovely/Team Building, Relationships, Hearing the Voice of God, Passion for Christ, Destiny and Calling, Worship and Warfare, Evangelism and Youth Culture, and Outreach Prep. Outreach prep is the last two weeks and ends March 27th. During this time we will be reading "Is That Really You God", "Captivating/Wild At Heart", "Celebration of Discipline", and "Foreign to Familiar" and writing reports on each. We have a verse to memorize every week as well.

If anyone wants to visit I have a map, a list of churches, things to do, restaraunts, etc ... so come visit! :)

Ok so that's about it. It is wonderful here and I love it!

Que Dios les bendiga!
