Cancelled Trip

So it turns out that I won't be heading out until January 3rd. We got to the airport only to be informed that all flights had been cancelled and Midway was closed, so we turned back around and drove home. The next flight we could get was on the 30th, so we decided not to go. I fly to San Diego on the 3rd and YWAM people will pick me up at the airport and drive me to Ensenada. Anyways... hope you all had an awesome Christmas!

Update

Well, I'll be leaving Wheaton in 18 days and the program will be starting in 27 days. I just wanted to thank all of you again. I will be doing my best to put prayer requests on here and keep all of you updated on what is going on in my life. Currently, the biggest prayer request is that I will be ready for college. I just figured out that between December 26th and the first day of college, I will be home for about ten days. I was offered a job at Honey Rock last week as a wrangler (working with the horses at the barn :) ) and I accepted (of course), so that I will be at Honey Rock all summer. This means that I will be with YWAM January 4-May 29. I will be home May 30-June 5. Then I will be home 5 days before classes start (if I go to Wheaton)- during the time for freshman orientation. This kind of leaves no time to prepare for college. Also, there will be two very quick unpack and repack times (YWAM to Honey Rock and Honey Rock to college). So if you all could just pray that I am calm and don't stress out, that would be terrific. Praise God for all these amazing opportunities I have been given. I am so grateful to Him for these blessings and for the blessing of each of you. Que Dios les bendiga!

Praise the Lord!

As of Thursday, November 20th, I am officially done raising financial support! Prayers are, as always, greatly appreciated. However, I no longer need help financially. Thank you so much to those of you have given me financial support and thank you so much to those of you who are continuing to support me in prayer! You all are such great blessings to me! It seems that many of you have been praying! I'm way closer to my goal than I was last time I updated. I have all the money for the outreach part (the checks made out to YWAM)!!! I just need a little under two thousand more for the school part (checks made out to me) and then I will be done! Thanks for your prayers! ¡Qué Dios les bendiga!

Support Update

Most importantly, thank you to all of you out there who are supporting me in prayer! I need so much prayer! This whole program is totally dependant on God, just like everything. I could not start this, let alone get through it, without your care and prayers.

Unfortunately, the financial support is also important. Right now I'm looking at being between 1/3 and 1/2 of the way there. In theory, this sounds great. However, I only have 44 days before I leave Wheaton. So, everyone, please pray that I am able to collect enough support to pay for this program! Thanks again to all who support me, financially and spiritually!

Getting Started

Hey everyone! I decided to start a blog, so I don't have to send out a bazillion emails. This way you can check my blog for updates. Hopefully, if I have time, I will also post pictures and such.
